From the court's premises, you can see the low mountain Dundret, which is only a ten-minute drive away and provides access to ski slopes, ski trails, ski touring, and hiking. Ski trails are also within walking distance of the court. Work Duties As an acting judge, you will have a central role in the court's judicial activities and be responsible for ensuring that cases and matters are resolved efficiently and with high quality. You will be responsible for all types of cases and matters that occur at the district court. The work also includes mentoring court clerks. This service is meritorious for a future permanent judicial position. Qualifications To be eligible for employment, you must have experience working as a member or legal advisor in an appeals court, or have performed the duties of an appeals court legal advisor for at least six months. It is meritorious if you are or have been a permanent judge or court of appeal assessor/administrative court assessor. Otherwise, you must meet the requirements set out in the Judicial Appointments Board's competency profile for permanent judges. We are looking for someone who is a skilled and analytical lawyer with a very strong ability to see connections and to identify, analyze, and solve legal challenges. We are therefore looking for someone who is inspired by varied and qualified work and who has the ability to tackle different matters and prioritize them appropriately.
