About the Operation The Rehabilitation Unit consists of five occupational therapists, seven physical therapists/physiotherapists, three social workers, two speech-language pathologists, two dietitians, and three rehabilitation assistants. The work team at our unit has great morale, and you will have several experienced colleagues who contribute expertise and serve as sounding boards and support in your daily work. Physical therapy work includes work on care wards, day rehabilitation, and outpatient services individually and in groups. We also have a stroke rehabilitation team that works in homes. We are starting to develop a mobile rehab team and would very much like you to be involved in planning its launch. We are now recruiting two physical therapists for our team! These are permanent positions, full-time, with start dates by agreement. Job Duties The first position involves: Work on a care ward with elective orthopedics, day surgery operations, and polyclinic orthopedic services. Within orthopedics, there is an established way of working with good collaboration between professions and a wonderful team spirit. The second position involves: Work on a medical ward with a focus on stroke and polyclinic day rehabilitation services. Work in the stroke home rehabilitation team can also be part of the job duties on a periodic basis. We work in a team-based approach where you as a physical therapist collaborate with occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and social workers.
