We are a specialist resource within Region Sörmland with specialized knowledge of permanent functional disabilities and their consequences in daily life. Habilitation is a complement to other healthcare services. Our mission is to assess and provide habilitation services to children, young people, and adults with permanent functional disabilities such as mobility impairments, multiple disabilities, traumatic brain injuries, intellectual disabilities, and autism spectrum disorder.
We work from an integrated clinic in multiprofessional teams divided into children's, youth, and adult teams. The Habilitation Clinic in Katrineholm is located at Kullbergska Hospital. We are part of the division of psychiatry and functional disabilities.

Your Work Tasks
We offer you engaging, stimulating, and developmental work, both individually and in teams consisting of various professions. This position is mainly focused on children and young people, but all ages may be relevant as we collaborate across the entire clinic, regardless of team, when needed.
We provide interventions individually or in groups, at our clinic or in the individual's everyday environments. The interventions are directed toward the patient, family members, and in collaboration with their network. Since you will be an important part of the multiprofessional team, it is important that you enjoy working with others and believe that the best results are achieved together. Together with other team members, you will develop habilitation plans and implement habilitation interventions. The professions meet regularly at regional professional meetings to discuss and collaborate on profession-specific questions. A profession coordinator is available within the activity to provide support.
General description of the profession's work tasks:
• Assess, evaluate, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions based on needs regarding: gross motor function level, positioning, mobility, pain, breathing, and circulation.
• Provide information, advice, and support to patients, families, and networks.
• Pre- and postoperative assessment and intervention.
• Assessment and prescription of movement techniques, medical equipment, and orthotic aids.
• Lead group activities such as pool therapy or other motor skills groups.
• Serve as a consultant to other services within the municipality and region.
Your Qualifications
We are looking for a licensed physical therapist. Experience working in this field is a merit, as is knowledge of the habilitation services' target population.
A driver's license category B is required.
We place great importance on your personal qualities, as well as your ability to work together in a team and collaborate with other stakeholders.
Employment Terms
Permanent employment at 100% or by agreement.
Start date by agreement.
