Job Responsibilities
We are looking for someone who wants to work with children and young people. With us, you will get an interesting and developing job with varied tasks. As a physical therapist at the Children and Youth Rehabilitation unit, you will meet children and young people with various functional impairments aged 0-21 years and their families.
You work in a team together with other professionals. The work involves motor function assessments, assistive device provision, follow-up, physical therapy treatment individually and in groups, and guidance to parents and staff in the children's and young people's immediate environment. The Children and Youth Rehabilitation unit operates throughout the county, but this position is attached to a team working within Örebro Municipality.
As a new employee, you will be offered a thorough introduction with mentoring and continuous collegial support. Professional groups with all physical therapists within the organization meet regularly for general questions but also conduct method days for various subject-specific deepening during the terms.
Qualifications
Licensed physical therapist. Experience working with children and young people and/or with people with functional impairments or neurological diseases is meritorious. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children and young people, is flexible, and wants to be part of a collaborative and efficient team.
A driver's license is required as travel on duty occurs.
