Rehabilitation is a region-wide specialist service operating at five locations in Dalarna. Each unit has Children and Youth Rehabilitation and Adult Rehabilitation with interdisciplinary teams possessing medical, psychological, social, and educational expertise. The Rehabilitation unit's mission is to offer people with congenital or early-acquired disabilities comprehensive specialist services to achieve the best possible functional ability and a good life situation. Within Rehabilitation, there is broad expertise in the field of disability. Responsibilities As a Physical Therapist/Physiotherapist with us, your work will be educational and varied, where teamwork with other professions is central. Our team consists of an occupational therapist, dietitian, physical therapists/physiotherapists, social worker, speech-language pathologist, physician, psychologist, nurse, special education teacher, and manager. Your responsibilities as a Physical Therapist/Physiotherapist include assessing, initiating treatment, and following up on the patient's motor functions and development in close consultation with the patient and loved ones in the patient's various environments. You provide interventions to help patients maintain, develop, and/or compensate for physical abilities. You assess needs and prescribe, as well as follow up on assistive devices. Our work takes place in close collaboration with our healthcare partners, municipal services, personal assistants, loved ones, and others. Qualifications Requirements: Physical Therapist/Physiotherapist degree/licensure. Driver's license (Category B) Meriting: Some years of experience Experience working with children and preferably within rehabilitation Personal Qualities: You are driven, flexible, and have a good ability to prioritize. You have enthusiasm and interest in working with our target group. You thrive in teamwork, but also have the ability to work independently. Through your professional approach and communication skills, you create good relationships with both colleagues and patients and loved ones, and contribute to a positive work environment.
