Then we hope you will apply to Habilitation for Children and Youth! We currently have three physical therapists and are now expanding our staffing. We are therefore looking for a physical therapist/physiotherapist for a permanent position. We welcome your application! Duties Your duties include assessing and evaluating the patient's motor function and abilities. Patient visits take place both at our clinic and in their home environment or at preschool/school. Based on your assessment, you plan interventions together with team colleagues, the patient, and their network. The team includes, in addition to the physical therapist: occupational therapist, speech-language pathologist, special education teacher, social worker, psychologist, pediatric nurse, and physician. You carry out targeted physiotherapy interventions including assistive device prescriptions where needed. Patient participation and understanding of the interventions provided is important to us, and we work systematically with visual support before and during visits, for example through picture schedules, visual boards, signs such as AAC, etc. You will be offered an introductory period and opportunities for collegial supervision as well as regular professional meetings. Qualifications - Licensed physiotherapist/physical therapist - Experience working with children and people with disabilities is a merit, as is experience with assistive device prescription - You should be curious, flexible, responsible, and enjoy problem-solving - You are confident in your professional role and enjoy both independent work and collaborating with colleagues from other professions - Professional and courteous conduct toward patients and colleagues is essential; we place great importance on personal suitability - As the work involves travel, a valid driver's license (Class B) is required Other Information Within Habilitering & Hälsa, we strive for gender balance and see diversity as a strength, where our employees' differences enrich and develop the organization.
