The role of Physical Therapist/Physiotherapist
As a physical therapist/physiotherapist with us, you will primarily work with specialized rehabilitation within psychiatry. You will be part of the resources at the rehabilitation center and work with the psychiatric clinic, where you will be part of a unit with occupational therapists and a dietitian. Rehabilitation stands for early, coordinated and comprehensive interventions from different areas of expertise and activities. Your work includes assessment, treatment, planning and rehabilitation of patients with mental health issues, in both acute and planned outpatient care together with the patient and their loved ones. You will also work on improving lifestyle habits for patients with serious mental health issues. You can work both individually and in groups and collaborate on rehabilitation matters, in teams and also with actors outside the region.

The Rehabilitation Center is a regional shared operation where different competencies and experiences support development for the patient, the profession and rehabilitation from a holistic perspective. Regardless of where in the region one lives, the patient should have access to equal rehabilitation of good quality.
Within the Rehabilitation Center, approximately 300 employees work within 11 areas with interprofessional composition based on a person-centered approach.
Your profile
We are looking for you who are a licensed physical therapist/physiotherapist and who want to work at a hospital in close collaboration with other professions, both on the ward and at the outpatient clinic. Previous experience in rehabilitation within psychiatry is desirable. Regardless of previous experience, we want you to share our ambition to constantly develop to meet patients' needs!

You are comfortable working both independently and in a team, are structured, collaborate well and have a holistic view where the patient and their loved ones are involved and in focus for your efforts.
