About the Operation
Habilitation is a regional specialist service with locations at five sites in Dalarna. Each unit has a regional Adult Rehabilitation and Child and Youth Rehabilitation service with multidisciplinary teams with medical, psychological, social, and educational expertise. Rehabilitation has an important and challenging mission to improve life for children, youth, and adults with congenital or early-acquired functional impairments, as well as for their loved ones. The services aim to contribute to a functioning everyday life, good quality of life, and participation in society.
We are now seeking a physiotherapist for Falun, though location can be discussed if needed. Would you like to take on an exciting assignment as a physiotherapist where you work with patients who have different types and often significant functional impairments? You will follow many patients over a long period, giving you the opportunity to get to know your patients and together with them plan and follow up on interventions long-term.
Responsibilities
As a physiotherapist with us, you will have varied and meaningful work where you make a real difference in people's everyday lives. Responsibilities include, among other things, assistive device prescription and follow-up, preventive and therapeutic interventions, advice and guidance to the patient's network, and assessments of functional ability.
Your primary focus is the patient's mobility and motor development. In close cooperation with the patient, their loved ones, and other professionals on the team, you will assess needs, initiate interventions, carry out treatments, and follow up on the patient's development in different environments. Through your work, you contribute to the patient being able to maintain, develop, or compensate for their physical abilities, thereby creating better conditions for participation and independence in daily life.
You will also have the opportunity to contribute with educational initiatives based on the needs and wishes of our patients and their networks. Collaboration is an important part of the work, and you will have close contact with other parts of healthcare as well as municipal services and other actors.

You will also become part of a regional physiotherapy network that meets weekly, where there is opportunity for collegial learning, experience exchange, and professional development.

Qualifications
Requirements:
Licensed physiotherapist/physical therapist
Valid B-class driver's license (travel is required for the position)
Personal Qualities:
You should have a genuine interest in the target group. Since you will work in a team, we place great emphasis on good cooperation skills, social competence, and personal suitability.
Meritorious:
Experience within the profession
