We are now recruiting a physical therapist for our mobile rehab team in the West region, based in Gothenburg. With us, you will be an important part of a skilled team of 10 people, including occupational therapists and physical therapists/physiotherapists who work both individually and collaboratively, across professions as well as within rehabilitation. Together we work for high patient safety and to create that little extra in daily life for the elderly in our special housing facilities. As part of Nära Vård's larger rehabilitation network, you will also have access to active collegial support both in the West region and throughout the rest of the country, with a focus on quality, knowledge exchange, and continuous development. Job Description We are now seeking an engaged and licensed physical therapist for a temporary position at 80% as our colleague goes on parental leave after the summer. As a physical therapist with us, you have overall responsibility for patients' rehabilitation. You conduct assessments, plan and carry out interventions, document measures, and prescribe medical technology products based on individual needs. An important part of your work is to supervise and educate nursing staff to ensure safe and quality care. You collaborate closely with occupational therapists, nurses, operations managers, and nursing staff. You will receive support from a team leader with a background as a trained physical therapist, as well as a wonderful large team with competent colleagues and clear working methods and routines. About You You are a licensed physical therapist with a genuine interest in elderly care and an interest in teamwork. As a person, you are responsible, organized, and independent, and you meet others with humility and professionalism. With a flexible attitude and a pedagogical and communicative approach, you thrive at supervising, inspiring, and creating security in interactions with patients, family members, and colleagues. Requirements · License as a physical therapist · Driver's license category B is a requirement · Experience from similar work in special housing facilities is a merit About the Recruitment Process Prior to potential employment, an extract from the criminal record register together with valid photo identification must be presented.
