We are now recruiting a physiotherapist for the Orthopedic Clinic. Your responsibilities As a physiotherapist with us, you will work with physiotherapeutic examination, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with musculoskeletal complaints referred to the orthopedic clinic. Based on your assessment and implemented measures, you will refer patients as needed to an orthopedist or back to open care for continued treatment and follow-up. The work demands high standards of clinical reasoning, independence, and the ability to make well-founded decisions. At the same time, you will be an important part of a multiprofessional team where collaboration and knowledge exchange are a natural part of everyday work. The position is located at both Karlstad Central Hospital and Arvika Hospital, which means you will work at both locations. A class B driving license is therefore a requirement for the position. Your knowledge and competencies We are looking for you, a licensed physiotherapist/physical therapist with OMT level 2 and Sports Medicine block 3 or equivalent education. You have extensive clinical experience in the examination, assessment, and treatment of patients with musculoskeletal complaints and feel confident working independently with qualified clinical decisions. We would like to see that you have a strong interest in development and educational issues. It is advantageous if you have completed OMT level 3 and/or have specialist competence in sports medicine. You have good interpersonal skills, good ability to collaborate, and enjoy working in a team with other professionals. You take personal responsibility, drive your work forward, and feel confident in making well-founded decisions.
