Work Tasks As a physical therapist in Nykvarns Municipality, you will work closely with care personnel, occupational therapists, nurses, group leaders, coordinators, and managers. You will have an important role in our operations as we are responsible for the health and medical care assignment for patients living in the municipality's special housing, LSS group homes, social psychiatric housing, service housing, LSS daily activities, and daily activities under the Social Services Act. As a physical therapist with us, you work from a rehabilitative approach, participate in care and treatment plans, conduct mobility assessments, prescribe and fit assistive devices, provide staff guidance, conduct functional assessments, and work with preventive measures. About the Operations The health and medical care organization is located at Lugnet Elder Living in Nykvarn. Our municipal health and medical care assignment includes patients at Lugnet Elder Living as well as the municipality's LSS, social psychiatric, and service housing. We are also responsible for health and medical care for our employees in daily activities during their working days. Qualifications We believe you have several years of experience working in municipal health and medical care serving the elderly population. We know that you are a positive, cheerful, and unpretentious person who sees opportunities and finds solutions, and who likes to work patient-centered together with the entire team. You are comfortable with documentation, and as the work requires your independence, you know how to organize and plan to manage busy and quiet periods. Requirements: - Hold a bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy - Are a licensed physical therapist - credential verification will be conducted before employment - Hold a Class B driver's license Other Information In Nykvarns Municipality, individual and differentiated salary setting is applied. We want you to provide an extract from the burden and suspicion register before employment. Nykvarns Municipality is a Finnish administrative area, and we consider it a merit if you speak Finnish. For this position, you must have a Class B driver's license. For this position, a probationary employment period of 6 months may be applicable.
