Description:

Are you a licensed physiotherapist looking for a position where variety and development are at the center? With us, you work in both inpatient and outpatient care and with multiple different clinics. This provides a stimulating and varied day-to-day experience where you can influence both your work and your professional development. Work Tasks As a physiotherapist at our Surgical Clinic's Rehabilitation Unit, you will have a varied, exciting, and challenging role where no two days are the same. You work in both inpatient and outpatient care and with several different clinics, which gives you the opportunity to broaden your experience and develop your expertise in multiple areas. Your work involves assessing and treating patients based on their individual needs, initiating rehabilitation interventions, assessing assistive device needs, prescribing assistive devices for discharge planning, and supervising students. You plan and organize your work largely independently. You are part of a team with other professional groups where collaboration centered on the patient is paramount. In this role, you will have the opportunity to influence how work is carried out and contribute new ideas and working methods together with your physiotherapist colleagues. About the Workplace The Surgical Clinic's Rehabilitation Unit is part of specialized care and is responsible for physiotherapy and occupational therapy services at multiple clinics, including surgery, oncology, infection, intensive care, women's health, vascular surgery, urology, and ear, nose, and throat care. We have thirteen physiotherapists and five occupational therapists working together with our unit manager. We have close collaboration, share knowledge, and develop our working methods together. Our ambition is to provide the best possible care – with the patient at the center and with a focus on continuous learning. For us, it is important that you feel well and enjoy your job, so we offer you a tailored introduction program so you feel safe and secure in your professional role opportunities for skills development through, for example, internal training a workplace for different stages of life free training at our fully equipped gym wellness benefits of 3000 SEK/year For more information about your benefits, visit: https://regionvastmanland.se/jobba-med-oss/dina-formaner/ Interested? Qualifications We are looking for someone who is a licensed physiotherapist and preferably has previous experience in the profession, ideally from similar operations. Experience working with patients in our area of responsibility is a merit, as is previous training or experience in areas such as breathing and circulation, balance, urology, or infectious diseases. If you also have certification in prescribing and webSesam training from the Assistive Device Center, we see that as an advantage. Since we work in the journal systems Cosmic and Link, it is advantageous if you have knowledge of both systems. The role involves daily contact with patients, family members, and colleagues, which means that good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form is important. We see that you, as an applicant, take responsibility and plan your work effectively, adapt easily to changes, and remain calm even in stressful situations. You take initiative to drive activities forward and achieve results, communicate clearly, and can distinguish between the personal and professional. Since the work involves teamwork with colleagues at several different clinics, it is important that you are attentive, flexible, and enjoy working together with others. Terms of Employment Permanent position, full-time. Start date by agreement. The position includes on-call work on major holidays where you work one of four consecutive days.
