Physical Therapist at Habilitation Center Järva Adults We are seeking a dedicated licensed physical therapist/physiotherapist About Us: Habilitation Center Järva Adults is one of our outpatient clinics for adults with congenital or early-acquired functional disabilities. The unit is located in Rinkeby and serves individuals residing in Järva and Sundbyberg. Here, 8 therapists work with adult patients, and the unit shares facilities with the children's unit. The unit also shares management with Habilitation Center Brommaplan Adults, where 16 people work. Habilitation is specialized in providing care to people with functional disabilities, such as intellectual disabilities, mobility impairments, and autism. Through support, strategies, and treatment, we create conditions for patients to function optimally in their daily lives. Job Responsibilities: As a physical therapist with us, you will work with adult patients who have mobility impairments/multiple functional disabilities, as well as meet patients with intellectual disabilities and autism. Your work will include conducting functional assessments, performing treatments, assistive device trials, follow-ups, and developing intervention and care plans. As a physical therapist with us, you will also work with information, courses, lectures, counseling, supervision, collaboration, and training for networks and staff. The work tasks are diverse and require high demands on flexibility and independence, as you will not only meet patients at the habilitation center but also in their immediate surroundings. All interventions are documented in our TakeCare patient records system. We work systematically according to a structured care process and use habilitation programs as decision support when planning interventions. We Are Looking For: We are seeking someone who is a licensed physical therapist/physiotherapist, preferably with experience meeting patients with the functional disabilities that are part of Habilitation & Health's mission. You are a person who is initiative-taking, development-oriented, and driven by finding solutions focused on the patient's needs. You enjoy working independently as well as in a team and take personal responsibility for planning, developing, and advancing patient work in a structured manner. Since the unit shares management with Habilitation Center Järva Adults, we also see that you are flexible in your work approach as the units support each other regarding patients and interventions. You have good computer skills and experience working with digital meeting tools, as some meetings take place remotely. With us, you need the ability to collaborate and be driven by collegial learning as you work closely with other professional categories in your unit. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. For patient-facing work within Stockholm County Healthcare: - A criminal background check is applied before an employment decision in accordance with SLSO's general guidelines for criminal background checks in employment. - Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new employee health examination, according to current directives, which takes place through occupational health services before employment. - In addition to Swedish professional licensure, good knowledge of the Swedish language is required, corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).
