As a temporary physical therapist at Functional Support on Första Långgatan in Majorna Linné, you and your colleagues are responsible for patients living in our residential facilities with special support and services (BmSS). Many of these patients also participate in daily activities at our day program where our interventions are also directed. We work person-centered with habilitation and rehabilitation for adults with psychiatric, congenital, or early-acquired functional disabilities. Our goal is for them to develop and maintain their abilities and achieve a more independent life. The need for health and medical care varies from preventive measures to more treatment-oriented medical interventions. Your work also includes supervising care staff and delegating rehabilitation interventions, as well as prescribing and fitting medical aids and assistive devices. Close collaboration with your own team as well as staff at the residential facilities and day program is essential for good results in rehabilitation work. In this role, you will perform assessments, treatments, and evaluations to provide the best possible care. You will meet patients with different rehabilitation needs, which gives you great variety in your work and opportunities to further develop your expertise. We offer a full-time temporary position for our colleague on parental leave until May 31, 2027. However, if part-time work suits your life situation better, we are open to that. It is meritorious if you have experience with habilitation/rehabilitation work or working with our target group, patients with functional disabilities. You have a driver's license and driving experience to be able to visit patients. The work requires you to have good interpersonal skills. You show respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role and are responsive to your patients' needs. You have the ability to independently organize and plan your time efficiently while also being able to work together with others to complete tasks and reach goals. Flexibility is essential to managing your role as a physical therapist. You take responsibility for your own and shared work tasks with the patient's wellbeing in focus.
