Your Assignment
The municipality's rehabilitation unit is responsible for providing rehabilitation services to individuals who cannot access primary care due to functional limitations or care needs. Our team includes physiotherapists and occupational therapists who assess rehabilitation needs. The unit also has rehabilitation assistants.
As a physiotherapist in the rehabilitation unit in Eslöv, you will have overall rehabilitation responsibility and create important conditions for patients to live as independently and meaningfully as possible through rehabilitation, exercise, and assistive device prescriptions. Your responsibilities include assessing rehabilitation needs, recommending appropriate training, finding compensatory assistive devices when needed, and guiding and instructing home care staff.
You will work closely with other professionals in the care chain—occupational therapists, nurses, home care staff, benefits coordinators, unit managers, and internal and external colleagues. Together, we work to create comprehensive solutions for the individual. You will participate in theme meetings and contribute to development work within the unit and with other professionals on the team.
Intended placement is in a district.
Your Experience
Swedish professional license as a physiotherapist or physical therapist.
Class B driver's license for manual transmission vehicles.
Good computer skills and ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, as documentation is part of the work.

Previous experience as a physiotherapist/physical therapist with experience in multiprofessional work in municipal operations.

About the Workplace
We are centrally located in Eslöv, near the train station. Our facilities are shared with the municipality's nurses and part of the home care service.
Occupational therapists in Eslöv Municipality work closely with physiotherapists, nurses, care staff, benefits coordinators, and unit managers in an interprofessional collaboration. Eslöv Municipality also has a medically responsible person for rehabilitation (MAR) since 2015.
