Habilitation Clinic, Eskilstuna We are seeking a licensed physical therapist with an interest in aquatic pool therapy. About Us We are a specialist resource within Region Sörmland with specialized knowledge about persistent functional limitations and their consequences in daily life. The Habilitation Clinic is a complement to other healthcare services. Our mission is to assess and provide habilitation services to children, youth, and adults with persistent functional limitations such as mobility impairments, multiple functional disabilities, traumatic brain injuries, intellectual disabilities, and autism spectrum disorder. We operate from a comprehensive clinic in multiprofessional teams divided into children's, youth, and adult teams. The Habilitation Clinic in Eskilstuna is located in the beautiful natural setting of Odlaren. We are part of the Psychiatry and Functional Disabilities division. Your Responsibilities We offer you engaging, stimulating, and developmental work both individually and in teams consisting of various professions. This position is primarily focused on children, but all age groups may be relevant as we collaborate across the entire clinic, regardless of team, as needed. We provide services individually or in groups, at our clinic or in the individual's everyday environments. Services are directed toward patients, family members, and in collaboration with their network. Since you will be an important part of the multiprofessional team, it is important that you enjoy working with others and believe that the best results are achieved together. Together with the team, you will develop habilitation plans and implement habilitation services. Professionals meet regularly at regional professional meetings to discuss and collaborate on profession-specific issues. Professional coordinators are available within the organization for support. General description of the profession's responsibilities • Assess, evaluate, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions based on needs in: gross motor function level, positioning, mobility, pain, breathing, and circulation. • Provide information, advice, and support to patients, families, and networks. • Pre- and postoperative assessment/intervention. • Assessment and prescription of mobility aids, medical equipment, and orthotic devices. • Lead group activities such as aquatic therapy or other motor skills groups. • Serve as a consultant to other activities within the Municipality and Region. Your Qualifications We are looking for someone who is a licensed physical therapist. Experience working in this field is a merit, as is knowledge of the habilitation clinic's target population. Driver's license category B is required. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities and your ability to work collaboratively in teams and cooperate with other stakeholders.
