Habilitation is specialized health and medical care for children and young people with autism, intellectual disability, mobility impairment, or acquired brain injury. Duties Work is carried out based on the child's needs. Duties include assessing and evaluating the patient's motor function and developmental level, planning interventions together with the patient, family, and multidisciplinary teams, and implementing goal-oriented physical therapy including assistive device prescriptions where needed. Teams are organized geographically, meaning you will work with children with many different functional impairments. The role also involves contact with other healthcare providers and networks around the patient. We work largely using a consultative approach. Qualifications We are looking for a licensed physical therapist. Experience with the target group within Habilitation is a merit. We seek someone who, together with the patient, family, and the team around the patient, wants to work to find good conditions for the individual to function in their daily life. You should be a curious person who enjoys problem-solving, variety, and is comfortable working flexibly, independently, and with other professionals. High demands are placed on social competence and collaboration skills. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. The position involves travel, so a class B driver's license is required.
