Your Assignment Your work tasks will include primary assessment, treatment, follow-up, and training of both young people and adults with symptoms, diseases, and injuries affecting the musculoskeletal system, central and peripheral nervous systems, as well as psychosomatic conditions. This takes place partly within the framework of clinical processes defined by primary care that we actively work with. As a physiotherapist, you have independent responsibility for assessment and treatment at both individual and group levels, where the choice of interventions should be based on available evidence and existing guidelines. At the health center, physiotherapists organize osteoarthritis classes, stress groups, and exercise groups, which may also be part of your duties. We actively work to develop our methods and expect you to engage actively in development work to provide more patients better access to assessment and treatment. Your Qualifications We seek someone who is a licensed physiotherapist, and we would appreciate if you have prior experience working in primary care. Training in OMT, MDT, and/or BK is considered a merit. You understand the importance of good patient flow at the health center, and the position requires good collaboration skills and the ability to work well in a team with other healthcare professionals, as well as the capacity to work independently. As a person, you communicate clearly and work in a structured manner. You are creative and enjoy thinking innovatively in ways that can be implemented in practice. You have good pedagogical skills and can easily build rapport with both patients and colleagues. Personal suitability is of great importance. Our Operations Svartbäckens Health Center is part of the Primary Care and Health Department at Region Uppsala and is one of the county's largest health centers with approximately 19,000 registered patients. We are centrally located in Uppsala with about 85 employees representing all professional disciplines within the health center's mission. Our patients range from young to elderly and live in the area or surrounding rural regions. This makes our work both varied and developmental.
