Your Assignment Your work tasks will consist of primary assessment, treatment, follow-up, and training of both adolescents and adults with symptoms, illnesses, and injuries affecting the musculoskeletal system, central and peripheral nervous system, and psychosomatic conditions. This work takes place partly within the clinical processes defined by primary care that we actively work with. As a physiotherapist, you have independent responsibility for assessment and treatment at both individual and group levels, where the choice of interventions should be based on available evidence and existing guidelines. At the health center, physiotherapists organize osteoarthritis classes, stress groups, and training groups, which may also be part of your work tasks. We actively work to develop our methods and expect you to engage in this developmental work to provide more patients with better access to assessment and treatment. Your Qualifications We are looking for a licensed physiotherapist, and we would appreciate prior experience working in primary care. Training in OMT, MDT, and/or BK is considered advantageous. You understand the importance of good patient flow at the health center, and the position requires good collaboration skills and an ability to work well in a team with other healthcare professionals, as well as the ability to work independently. As a person, you communicate clearly and work in a structured manner. You are creative and enjoy thinking of new approaches that can be put into practice. You have good pedagogical skills and can easily build rapport with both patients and colleagues. Personal suitability is of great importance. Our Operations Svartbäckens Health Center is part of the Primary Care and Health division of Region Uppsala and is one of the county's largest health centers with approximately 19,000 registered patients. We are centrally located in Uppsala with about 85 employees representing all professions within the health center's mission. Our patients are both young and old, living in the area or in the surrounding countryside. This makes our work both varied and rewarding.
