DUTIES
The unit consists of eight physical therapists, eight occupational therapists, and three rehabilitation assistants.
Your responsibilities involve overseeing exercise and rehabilitation for elderly people and those with disabilities. The work is conducted primarily in patients' homes and at care and residential facilities, but also within social psychiatry and LSS (Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). In your role, you also guide care staff in implementing prescribed exercises for patients. You are also responsible for prescribing assistive devices.
As a physical therapist, you usually work in pairs with an occupational therapist and together you are responsible for a geographic area. A large part of the work is conducted through collaboration with rehabilitation assistants, team leaders, care staff, nurses, needs assessors, and unit managers.

QUALIFICATIONS
For this position, you need to be a licensed physical therapist and we welcome newly graduated candidates—we have a good culture with excellent mentorship for newly qualified physical therapists!
To be suitable for the position, we see that you are attentive, engaged, and have good ability to plan and make independent decisions. We envision someone who wants to develop in their professional role in work where you come into contact with patients with many varying diagnoses. Therefore, we are looking for someone who enjoys collaborating with colleagues and other people both internally within the municipality and externally.
Previous experience working as a physical therapist in healthcare or elderly care is meriting.
A class B driver's license with manual transmission is required for the position.
