Your Responsibilities
As Assistant Principal at Futurum, you will be part of the school's leadership team alongside the Principal and two other Assistant Principals. We are a positive and solution-focused group where high expectations and humor are important elements.
You will be responsible for grades 7, 8, and 9, with a focus on student safety, academic environment, and goal achievement. Your role includes personnel management, operations development, and responsibility for student welfare work at your level.
You will lead the operations through close and trust-based leadership where you are visible in daily work and create participation and engagement among staff.
We Are Looking for Someone Who
Holds teaching certification with authorization to teach in upper grades of primary school (grades 7–9)
Has current experience as an Assistant Principal with responsibility for middle school
Has strong knowledge of student welfare work and experience leading student welfare teams
Has experience with scheduling
Meritorious:
Completed or ongoing principal certification program
Special education competence
