As a fundraising coordinator, you will be an important part of establishing and developing a new function where research, relationships, and development meet. Responsibilities As a fundraising coordinator, you will have a central role in developing long-term collaborations and external funding for Mid Sweden University. You will work closely with the Fundraising Director, university leadership, researchers, and external partners in an environment where ideas can be put into practice. The role is varied and combines coordination, research, communication, and relationship-building. You will work to identify and develop relationships with potential and existing donors and partners, plan and follow up on activities, and create materials and communication resources that support fundraising efforts. Since the fundraising function is being established, you will also have the opportunity to influence working methods and develop the operations going forward. Here you will be part of a dynamic environment where collaboration, structure, and flexibility are important aspects of the work. The position involves travel between the university's campus locations as well as to external meetings and activities. Your Background We are looking for someone with an academic degree in, for example, communication, social sciences, marketing, economics, or another field or education that we deem relevant. You have experience driving projects, have worked in larger projects or operations, and are accustomed to working in environments with external contact points and collaborations. You have worked with communication and have basic financial understanding as well as the ability to perform simple analyses. You express yourself fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and are comfortable working in digital tools and collaboration platforms such as Microsoft 365 and Teams. It is advantageous if you have experience with relationship-based sales, CRM systems, and simple design tools such as Canva.
