As a fundraising coordinator, you will be an important part of establishing and developing a new function where research, relationships, and development meet. Responsibilities As a fundraising coordinator, you will have a central role in developing long-term partnerships and external funding for Mid Sweden University. You work closely with the Fundraising Director, the university's leadership, researchers, and external partners in an environment where ideas can be put into practice. The role is varied and combines coordination, research, communication, and relationship building. You will work to identify and develop relationships with potential and existing donors and partners, plan and follow up activities, and prepare materials and communications that support fundraising efforts. Since the fundraising function is being established, you will also have the opportunity to influence working methods and develop the operation forward. Here you become part of a dynamic environment where collaboration, structure, and flexibility are important aspects of the work. The position involves travel between the university's campus locations and to external meetings and activities. Your Background We are looking for someone with an academic degree in fields such as communication, social sciences, marketing, economics, or other areas or education that we consider relevant. You have experience driving projects, working in larger projects or operations, and are accustomed to working in environments with external contacts and partnerships. You have worked with communication and have basic financial understanding as well as the ability to perform simple analyses. You communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing, and are comfortable working with digital tools and collaboration platforms such as Microsoft 365 and Teams. It is meritorious if you have experience with relationship-based sales, CRM systems, and simple design tools such as Canva.
