About the Company
Fragus Group is the Nordic region's leading provider of vehicle warranties and digital solutions for the mobility sector. From its headquarters in Mölndal (Gothenburg), the company operates several digital initiatives that modernize and simplify the automotive industry – with proprietary systems handling everything from accounting and inventory to warranty and claims processing across five Nordic markets.
The company is undergoing a comprehensive technical modernization, where legacy systems are gradually being migrated to modern frameworks and APIs. The codebase spans from .NET Framework 4.7.2 to .NET 8.0, complemented by React SPAs alongside the existing ASP.NET MVC 5 application. Here you're not just building features – you're helping shape how a critical platform used daily by hundreds of users across the Nordic region evolves.
About the Role
We're looking for a Full-Stack .NET/React developer who wants to take a key role in the development team for the V4 platform – Fragus's internal claims management system. You'll work closely with system developers, product owners, and external integration partners to further develop a complex and business-critical solution.
This role suits you if you thrive in a senior, hands-on position with significant technical responsibility. You'll maintain and develop a large ASP.NET MVC 5 application with Razor views alongside modern React SPAs and .NET 8.0 APIs. You'll work with system integration against external solutions like Visma, Volvo, SuperOffice, and Postmark – and you're comfortable navigating a hybrid environment where legacy and modern technology coexist.
You'll become part of a skilled team with low bureaucracy, high technical standards, and a strong culture – "freedom with responsibility" in practice.
What You'll Do
Design and develop backend services and APIs in C# / ASP.NET Core Web API (.NET 8.0)
Maintain and further develop the existing ASP.NET MVC 5 application with Razor views
Develop modern frontend interfaces in React (v17–v19), TypeScript, and Redux Toolkit
Model and optimize database structures in SQL Server (Dapper, Entity Framework 6 / EF Core)
Build and maintain integrations with external systems – ERP (Visma), CRM (SuperOffice), vendor APIs (Volvo), email services (Postmark)
Work with CI/CD in Azure Pipelines and hosting on IIS / Windows Server
Contribute to architecture and design decisions regarding modularity, performance, and security
Participate in the entire development lifecycle – from analysis to release and optimization
Who We're Looking For
Must-haves:
At least 5 years of experience in system development with C# / .NET
Strong experience with ASP.NET MVC and/or ASP.NET Core Web API
React + TypeScript (functional components, hooks)
SQL Server and experience with ORMs (Dapper and/or Entity Framework)
Experience with system integration – building and consuming RESTful APIs against external systems
Understanding of authentication and security (JWT, OAuth2, role-based authorization)
Git and CI/CD (Azure Pipelines or similar)
Fluent in Swedish and English
Personality: Self-driven, takes ownership, thrives with freedom and responsibility
Meritorious:
Redux Toolkit, React Query, Material UI (MUI 5)
Internationalization (i18next or similar, multi-market systems)
Experience migrating from legacy .NET Framework to .NET Core / .NET 8
IIS hosting and Windows Server operations
Bootstrap, Kendo UI, or jQuery (legacy context)
SCSS / CSS Modules / CSS-in-JS
Testing with xUnit / NUnit + Moq, Jest + React Testing Library
What We Offer
Key role in a long-term and strategic development project
Modern tech stack combined with a technically challenging hybrid environment
Stable and mature company with senior colleagues, low bureaucracy, and high technical standards
Hybrid model – flexible arrangement for remote work and office time
Benefits according to policy
