Do you want to be part of creating meaningful and safe leisure time for our students? We are now looking for two engaged and creative leisure time pedagogues or afterschool teachers to join our team at Christinaskolan F-6 in Piteå. Duties As a leisure time pedagogue/afterschool teacher, you will support students' development through play, creative activities, and social interaction. You are an important part of the school as a whole and work closely with teachers and other staff to create a stimulating environment both during and after school hours. The work involves developing and leading pedagogical activities in our afterschool program together with other educators. The afterschool program's mission is to complement education in preschool and school where you stimulate students' development and learning while providing them with meaningful leisure time. You will also support students during lessons and in various activities throughout the school day. Contact and collaboration with guardians is also an important part of the work. Qualifications Education as a leisure time pedagogue or teacher with a focus on afterschool programs, or other pedagogical education Experience working with school-age children is a merit Good collaboration skills and a solution-focused approach to work Creativity, initiative, and great commitment to children and young people Good communication skills Good ability to build relationships with both internal and external partners such as guardians We are also interested in you if you have another pedagogical education that can be considered equivalent.
