JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Djurängen is located in a nature-rich area just north of central Kalmar. We are a smaller school with approximately 220 students. We work together to maintain a shared pedagogical approach and continuously discuss what children of the future need to become valued members of society. We are now looking for you to become part of our team and thereby give students the best possible conditions for their learning. Together with and in collaboration with your colleagues, you will further develop and take responsibility for teaching at the after-school care center and are an important part of the school day. With us, you will meet engaged, motivated, and competent staff who all work for the students' benefit. You will also have very rewarding and fulfilling work where you build close relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. Furthermore, you get the privilege of participating in many students' positive development. In your role as a recreation pedagogue/after-school care teacher at Djurängen School, you will, together with your colleagues, be responsible for the pedagogical work, which means you plan, implement, and evaluate the activities, with the student's best interests in focus. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is engaged, has good collaboration skills, a positive approach, and sees changes as a natural part of everyday life. You build sustainable relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians and in the activities you meet each student based on individual conditions and needs. You have a structured work style and are skilled at inspiring and motivating children to discover and learn on their own. We are looking for someone who, together with your colleagues, can create a good learning environment for our students. Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities and collaboration skills.
