JOB DUTIES
Do you want to help create a safe, inspiring and meaningful everyday life for children? Are you an engaged and creative pedagogue who loves building relationships, leading activities and contributing to children's development? Then you are the leisure pedagogue we are looking for!
As a pedagogue in the leisure center at Asmundtorp school, you are responsible for creating an inspiring and developmental environment for students during their time in the leisure activity program. You work both during school hours as an educational resource in the classroom and after school in the leisure center. The role involves you actively contributing to students' social and personal development through structured activities, play and learning. Work can be both independent and as part of our engaged team. With us you get a meaningful assignment where you help shape children's everyday life from play to learning.
Daily work consists of, among other things:
• Planning and implementing meaningful activities that promote student development and learning in the leisure center.
• Supporting students educationally during school hours as a resource in the classroom.
• Creating safety and structure through clear frameworks, low-key interaction and good leadership.
• Building good relationships with students, guardians and colleagues to promote collaboration and well-being.
• Contributing to the development of operations through innovative thinking, initiative and goal-oriented work.

QUALIFICATIONS
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a certified leisure pedagogue who is a safe and clear teacher with a low-key and responsive approach. You have a natural ability to meet each student according to their needs and create an environment where children feel seen and appreciated. You are relationship-building, structured and actively contribute to a positive culture in the leisure center and team. We value your initiative and your solution-focused approach. You enjoy working in collaboration, are creative in your pedagogy and see opportunities in every interaction with children, guardians and colleagues.
Required competencies:
• Trained and qualified leisure pedagogue
• Good knowledge of Swedish language, both spoken and written
Mentor training is a merit as we are a partner school with the assignment to receive teaching students. Another merit is swimming ability, as swimming instruction may occur.
