The Culture and Recreation Department is responsible for the municipality's culture and recreation activities, and our main task is to help people make the most of and develop their interests in culture, recreation, and sports. We serve all residents of the municipality, but children and young adults are a priority target group. JOB DUTIES As a recreation staff member at Fritidsbanken, you create a welcoming, safe, and inspiring environment for our visitors and borrowers. You guide them in choosing equipment and encourage an active and healthy lifestyle. Main responsibilities: - Receive and welcome visitors in a service-oriented and positive manner. - Help visitors borrow and return sports and outdoor equipment. - Provide advice and guidance on equipment and guide and inspire visitors to sports and recreation activities. - Sort, check, and organize equipment in storage and lending areas. - Perform simple cleaning, maintenance, and care of equipment. - Participate in activities and events that strengthen Fritidsbanken's presence and role in the municipality. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for a creative and outgoing recreation staff member who wants to make a real difference in people's daily lives. We are looking for you who have: - Great commitment to people, good communication skills, and a welcoming manner. - A genuine interest in recreation and sports. - Interest in learning simple repairs of sports and recreation equipment. - Basic digital skills and experience working with the Office package. It is meritorious if you have: - Experience working in a politically governed organization. - Experience planning and implementing events or activities. - Experience collaborating with civil society, such as associations and non-profit organizations. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability and conduct a comprehensive assessment of your combined competencies. Salary form: Hourly wage. Employment form: Fixed-term employment.
