Young Recreation is a unit within the Culture and Recreation Administration. In Klippan, we are convinced that open youth activities serve an important function as an arena, as a meeting place, as an informal learning method, and not least as a tool for young people's growth and well-being. Open activities are a cornerstone of our work and take place in many different arenas—the meeting places we run, in schools, and other natural meeting places for youth. The activities should be built on equal value for all, participation, safety, and equality through a health-promoting and norm-critical approach based on a positive view of people and a salutogenic perspective. The target group for the activities is those in grades 7 through upper secondary school or up to 19 years old. 2 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Now you have the chance for a fun and rewarding part-time job—the recreation centers in Klippan are seeking substitutes! If you are a creative person full of ideas and have a health-promoting approach, this is the workplace for you. Together with your colleagues, you run open youth activities in Klippan Municipality. The municipality consists of three central locations with three different recreation centers that are open from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM, so the work requires that you can work evening hours. A typical evening at one of our recreation centers consists of e-sports, board games, table tennis, creative activities, cooking, and lots of conversations. The work can also involve activities in nature, sports halls, or other outings. QUALIFICATIONS As a recreation leader, you meet children and youth with different needs, which requires patience, flexibility, resourcefulness, and a positive attitude. As a substitute, the job mainly involves being a good role model and a trusted adult who is resourceful and good at including young people in creating activities. Employment type: Fixed-term employment. Duration: 6 months or longer. To ensure the quality of our recruitment process, we work with a competency-based recruitment tool.
