JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a recreation leader, you meet with young people, create activities, and contribute to a safe and inclusive recreation center where young people have the opportunity to be involved and influence the operations. You are a present adult who sees, listens to, and supports young people in their daily lives. In this role, you plan and carry out both scheduled and spontaneous activities, create space for conversations and relationships, and organize themed evenings and activities during school holidays. You encourage young people to come up with their own ideas and support them in realizing their initiatives and projects. We are seeking two recreation leaders. These are part-time positions with a scope of 50%. Working hours are arranged for afternoons and evenings; weekend duty may occur. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is confident and stable and who wants to be a positive role model for young people. You have an easy time making contact with young people and have a good ability to build trusting relationships. You are attentive and flexible and can quickly adapt based on young people's needs, interests, and situations that arise in the operations. It is advantageous if you have experience with similar work and/or leadership within the voluntary sector. It is also advantageous if you have training as a recreation leader or other education with a pedagogical focus. Employment form: Permanent employment. Duration: Start date: 2026-09-07 or by agreement. For the interview, you need to bring a valid passport or national ID card. If you are a citizen of a country outside the EU/EEA, you also need to be able to prove your right to work in Sweden by presenting a valid residence and work permit. We do this to ensure your identity and that you have the right to work in Sweden. According to the municipality's decision on background checks, anyone offered employment must present an extract from the criminal record before an employment contract can be signed.
