Recreation Leader

WORKPLACE Hagfors Recreation Center is located in the Fasaden building, which also houses a culture school and cinema. DUTIES AND QUALIFICATIONS We are now seeking a Recreation Leader at 50%, as we have begun an initiative to expand our operating hours in 2026. We see that you as an applicant have a positive, flexible, and solution-focused outlook. You are confident in yourself with good self-awareness, collaborate easily with others, but can also work independently when required. You should have a strong interest in children's and young people's development and want to work with us to develop the quality and goal fulfillment of our operations. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability and social competence. Working hours are scheduled for afternoons and evenings, as well as certain Saturdays. In your work you will, among other things: - Motivate, support, and assist visitors both socially and educationally - Be active with visitors during breaks and leisure time and be responsible for ensuring planned activities are available - Communicate and establish relationships, as well as be able to handle acute problem situations and resolve conflicts - Work preventatively and promotively - Collaborate with other organizations You have a professional demeanor that creates trust, security, and trusting relationships with both young people, colleagues, and guardians. You need a high degree of flexibility and are very skilled at adapting your approach to young people's needs. Qualifications - Recreation Leader education or equivalent education/experience - B-class driver's license - General computer skills Employment requires submission of a criminal record excerpt.
