Sundbyskolan is a safe and family-friendly F-9 school located in a pleasant residential area in Sundby, Stockholm. The school is large and almost resembles its own small village with a well-functioning organization that creates clarity with a holistic perspective on operations. Visit the school website: http://sundbyskolan.stockholm.se Your Role As a Recreation Center Coordinator, you have a central role in the operations and work closely with students, guardians and colleagues. In your role as recreation center manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that the instruction is designed in accordance with the School Act, curriculum and other national and municipal governing documents. You will work together with the assistant principal to: lead, support and inspire colleagues in pedagogical development work coordinate daily organization as well as staffing and planning during school breaks coordinate organizing shared activities schedule recreation center staff The position also includes work at the various recreation centers and team leadership. Your Competence and Experience You are confident, stable, have good self-awareness and adapt your approach depending on the situation. You appreciate working toward goals and focus on continuous improvements in operations and your own professional practice. You have good collaboration skills with colleagues, students and guardians. You have a good ability to listen, communicate and resolve conflicts in a constructive manner. You are structured in the way you plan, organize and prioritize work efficiently. You who apply: are a certified teacher in recreation centers/recreation pedagogue are well familiar with the curriculum for recreation centers have several years of experience teaching in recreation centers have experience conducting development work have experience coordinating recreation center operations or equivalent can express yourself well in speech and writing Great weight will be placed on personal suitability.
