Working with us At Tensta Swimming Pool and Sports Hall, you become part of an engaged team of around 12 people who make a difference together every day. Tensta Swimming Pool and Sports Hall is more than just a swimming facility – it's a living meeting place, characterized by diversity, community, and pride. Here, children, young people, adults, and seniors train side by side, and we meet people from all over the world under one roof. To offer Stockholmers good accessibility, we staff the facility between 6 AM-10:30 PM, 5 days a week, Saturday/Sunday 7:30 AM-8:00 PM, which means we work shifts, evenings, and weekends. Read more about Stockholm City's employee benefits at jobba.stockholm/formaner Your role As a Wellness Program Leader at Tensta Swimming Pool and Sports Hall, you become an important part of both our operations and our area. You meet our visitors with warmth, service, and commitment, and help more people experience the joy of movement. In this role, you lead inspiring group fitness classes and adapt training for different target groups. Particularly important is working with young people in the local area, as well as with people with disabilities and seniors. You also help plan and implement activities that strengthen public health in the Järva area, where your enthusiasm and knowledge help attract more people to an active lifestyle. In this role, you will also be responsible for group fitness coordination, which means planning the group fitness schedule, recruiting instructors, and more. With us, we all help maintain a high standard at the facility. This means that you, like your colleagues, also contribute to reception and facility maintenance so that all our visitors feel safe and welcome. Some swimming instruction may also be part of the position. Your competence and experience You have: Upper secondary education and at least one year of wellness training or equivalent A burning interest in working with young people Training and experience leading group fitness classes, preferably in various forms such as water aerobics, core, strength, and cycling Good Swedish in speech and writing, and the ability to adapt your communication to the person and situation Basic computer skills Good swimming ability and can perform a 1.8-meter deep dive. We consider it a merit if you have: Experience working with service and customer interactions Experience working with people with disabilities and/or seniors FaR-leader training Gym instructor training Swimming instructor training Leadership experience from associations or other youth activities. To succeed in this role, we believe you are initiative-taking, enthusiastic, and have a relationship-building approach to work. You are driven by finding solutions to motivate physical activity in people who don't currently exercise. To fit with us, it's important that you take responsibility for the overall facility, adapt easily to changing circumstances, have a pedagogical approach, and work well with others.
