We are currently looking for positive and enthusiastic aquatic fitness instructors for our swimming facility Navet, located in central Umeå. At Navet, we offer varied aquatic training in different forms that suit everyone. Navet is one of Sweden's largest facilities for aquatic training and offers many unique classes in aquatic fitness, such as AquaRide (specially designed bikes that can be in water) and Aqua Gymstick (combines barbell and resistance bands). Your Responsibilities As an aquatic fitness instructor, you will lead, inspire, and instruct our members in a pedagogical and safe manner. You will stay updated with new training methods and continuously strive to develop in your role as a group fitness instructor. You are expected to prepare for your classes and participate in the training offered. We are looking for someone who can lead 1–2 regular classes per week during daytime and evening hours starting from September 1st. Heavy lifting occurs in the workplace. About You We are looking for someone who wants to become part of our cheerful instructor team and who is passionate about motivating others to be physically active. You are a driven, responsible, and self-directed person. You love being challenged and developing, and as an aquatic fitness instructor at Navet, you will have the opportunity to do just that. Personal suitability is given great weight. We see that you have swimming skills and life-saving skills. It is desirable that you have previous experience leading and instructing group fitness classes and hold CPR certification, but this is not required. If you don't have formal training but are the right person for the role, we will train you in the different training methods. Currently, we are looking for people to lead the following classes: Aqua Aqua Yoga AquaRide Aqua Power Aroma Yoga (hot yoga) - performed in sauna Aqua Gymstick Crawl and recreational swimming What We Offer You Fun and inspiring work with good opportunities for personal development Training in leading aquatic fitness classes Other Information Three positions as fixed-term part-time roles with varying employment levels between 10-30%. Start date from September 1, 2026 or by agreement until June 6, 2027 Scheduled working hours during day, evening, and weekends In accordance with the Fitness Assessment Act, an extract from the police criminal record must be presented at employment.
