Your Assignment As an analyst, you will be part of the Signals Intelligence Division, which conducts signals intelligence operations in accordance with the Act on Signals Intelligence in Defense Intelligence Activities. FRA's signals intelligence aims to provide information and warning about conditions in the world around us. This can relate to potential threats to Sweden, but also to supporting the government's foreign, security, and defense policy. The role involves gathering signals and data, which are then processed and analyzed to ultimately produce intelligence that is reported to our clients. In your role as an analyst, you will be a link in an exciting production chain. Your main responsibilities will, after training and practice, be the gathering and analysis of technical signals, primarily radar signals, with a focus on analysis work. You will also produce outgoing reports. The work is conducted both independently and together with your colleagues as well as in collaboration with our clients. Normal working hours are daytime, but shift work may occur periodically. Business travel to other locations may occur. Your Qualifications We are looking for someone with: High school education with a science or technical focus, or equivalent knowledge obtained in other ways Work experience and/or internship from university/vocational school/college Good computer skills Strong knowledge of Swedish and English with the ability to express yourself in both speech and writing Class B driver's license We consider it a merit if you have: Post-secondary education in technology or natural science Knowledge of radar and digital signal processing Experience with other technical work Previous work with technical analysis tools, programming skills, databases, and/or statistics Your Personal Qualities We are looking for someone with the following characteristics: Personal maturity – You are confident, stable, and have self-awareness. More Information The workplace is located on Österlen in southeastern Scania. Swedish citizenship is a requirement as employment at FRA involves placement in a security classification.
