We are the authority responsible for prisons, probation services, remand facilities, and inmate transport.
The position is located at the technical unit within the property management department. The unit consists of two sections: technical projects and technical management. This recruitment is for the Technical Management Section.

Job Description
As a technical security systems manager, you are responsible for ensuring that technical requirements in projects and management align with the Security Department's requirements. This applies to all technical security systems, both in ongoing management, new construction, and renovations, as well as in major installation projects.
The assignment includes determining investment needs, both short- and long-term, at each operational facility. This is often done in close collaboration with local technicians. You are responsible for preparing necessary documentation for budgets and maintenance plans and for implementing required new investments and reinvestments. The role also includes setting requirements, managing smaller expansion contracts, and participating in inspections and follow-ups. You collaborate with other units and sections at headquarters as well as with regional and local coordinators assigned to your region.
We have a nationwide service and support agreement with suppliers where you can receive support and assistance as well as order materials and services. Business travel is part of the role, and local visits to prisons and remand facilities in the region are common.
