The Finance Department is a national department at the Swedish Prison and Probation Service headquarters and holds overall responsibility for the authority's finances, as well as procurement and purchasing activities.
The department also holds operational responsibility for the Finance, Property, and Procurement management area. The assignment includes monitoring and analyzing trends and events in the external environment and acting to develop systems, structures, and working methods based on these. This includes continuously improving and further developing operations through the support of digitalization.
Job Description
As Administration Manager for Finance, Property, and Procurement, you are responsible for leading and developing the management area. Together with the Administration Manager for IT, you lead the area's digital development and ensure that operational needs are translated into efficient, user-friendly, and sustainable digital solutions.
The assignment includes developing objectives for the management area. This also means coordinating operational needs, prioritizing development initiatives, budgeting, and ensuring that the area's resources are used in the best way to create operational value.
Qualifications
We are looking for you as someone who has the ability to take significant personal responsibility, create collaboration, build relationships, and drive change in a complex organization. You are also quality-conscious and value clear processes.
We are looking for you who have:
Post-secondary education with a focus on finance, procurement, law, or other education in combination with experience that the Swedish Prison and Probation Service considers relevant
Experience with digitizing operational processes
Experience leading and driving complex assignments with good results
Experience working in project form
Experience in change management
Experience in process management
Very good ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish
Knowledge of information security
It is also meritorious to have:
Academic education in finance, law, or engineering or other education in combination with experience that the Swedish Prison and Probation Service considers relevant
Experience with work and procurement within public sector operations
Experience working according to an established management model
Experience with cross-functional agile work
Knowledge of PPS
Knowledge of information security
