Welcome to the Quality and Development Department at the Employment and Social Affairs Department!
The Social Services is in an exciting development phase with extensive changes related to new legislation in several areas. In the Quality and Development Department, we work together to provide the operations with qualified support during this transition. As an administrative law attorney with us, you will contribute expertise, analysis, and guidance in this interesting change work.
You will become part of a work group with six administrative law attorneys and are also part of a unit with a total of ten employees. We work closely together and in cross-professional teams, where different competencies complement each other to create the best possible support for the department's operations.
We are now seeking an administrative law attorney for a permanent position and look forward to welcoming a new colleague to our team.
Duties
As an attorney in the Employment and Social Affairs Department, your duties include representing the board in court, both in administrative courts and general courts. The position also includes assisting the board and department with advice on matters relating to administrative law, social law, public access and confidentiality, and municipal law.
Further duties include, for example, working with professional development of the department's employees, participating in development work such as collaboration with other authorities, and assisting the board in supervisory matters and consultation procedures.
In your role as an administrative law attorney, you are also expected to contribute your expertise to the unit's other tasks. Ongoing work duties in the unit consist of, for example, environmental monitoring, analysis, investigation, project coordination, and preparation of decision-making materials.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a law degree and experience in qualified legal work.
It is a merit if you have experience from court work, litigation, and work with compulsory care. It is also a merit if you have good knowledge in several of the legal areas mentioned below:
Social Law
Public Access and Confidentiality
Municipal Law
Administrative Law
Other Relevant Legislation (such as immigration law, contract law, labor law, digitalization law)

We would appreciate if you are unpretentious, service-oriented, and have a structured work approach. You are attentive, flexible, and easily adapt to the department's needs.
To thrive in the role, you need to be able to plan, organize, and prioritize your work efficiently. You express yourself well in both speech and writing and have good communication skills. We also see that you are solution-oriented and have a positive attitude toward change and new challenges.
About the Workplace
You will be part of Support and Development - Children and Families, which is one of six units in the Quality and Development Department.
The Quality and Development Department works with, among other things, socially sustainable development, management and development of board administration, case management, support and analysis for development and quality work in employment and social services. The department is part of the staff and is one of 9 departments in the Employment and Social Affairs Department.
