We are now seeking an experienced and committed management director who wants to lead a well-functioning and societally important operation into its next development phase.

DUTIES
As management director, you have overall responsibility for Assistive Devices SAM's operations, finances, quality, and results. You lead through your managers and create good conditions for a secure, professional, and service-oriented organization.
The role combines strategic leadership with operational presence and requires the ability to understand technology, logistics, care processes, and customer perspectives. You represent the operation in the joint management board and collaborate closely with the county's ten municipalities, regional operations, and external suppliers.
As management director, you will
• lead and develop the operation with responsibility for finances, quality, and results
• lead and develop subordinate managers and ensure trust-based and sustainable leadership
• implement political goals and strategies into clear plans and priorities
• ensure high service levels and accessibility across the entire assistive device supply chain
• drive development within digital assistive devices and self-monitoring
• represent the operation in the joint board and communicate the operation's mandate and results
• develop collaboration with municipalities, healthcare operations, and suppliers
• maintain a good working environment and a culture characterized by service and quality.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is a confident and communicative leader with the ability to create structure, engagement, and good relationships in a complex operation. You thrive in a role where strategic work is combined with operational presence, and you find it easy to collaborate in politically governed contexts.
You need to be able to understand a technology- and service-intensive operation. It is important that you see the whole picture—how logistics, service, digitalization, and care processes together create value for patients, municipalities, and the region. The role also involves representing the operation in the joint board and communicating the operation's mandate and results in a clear and professional manner.
To succeed in the role, you must have
• an academic degree or equivalent work experience that the employer considers equivalent
• documented management experience
• experience from healthcare and/or the assistive devices field
• experience leading operations with significant financial responsibility
• experience working in or with municipal and/or regional operations where collaboration between multiple actors is involved.
It is advantageous if you have documented management experience where you have led other managers. Experience with technology-intensive operations or assistive device provision, as well as experience driving development work in complex organizations, is also advantageous for the position.
