Landskrona City is now seeking a Director of Care Administration for the Care Administration, which has a transformed mission as a commissioning organization. 1 position(s). DUTIES During 2024, Landskrona City established the wholly owned municipal company Landskrona Omsorg AB, which is responsible for the city's care services within home care, special housing (SÄBO), LSS, and HSL. The purpose of the corporatization is to strengthen the quality of care through a clearer mandate and more structured follow-up. The Care Administration, which receives its mandate from the Care Board, has thus shifted from being a provider to being responsible for commissioning, follow-up, and quality development of care services. The Administration also works with preventive and health-promoting initiatives as well as tasks involving the distribution of government grants. The Administration's new role is still being developed, and we are seeking a Director with the ability and willingness to continue developing and leading the Administration in this new mandate. The Administration has approximately 45 employees working within the authority department, the support and health unit, development department, and staff. The Administration also has a medically responsible nurse (MAS), medically responsible for rehabilitation (MAR), and socially responsible coordinator (SAS), who support and follow up on operations. As Director of Care Administration, you report to the City Director and are part of the city's management group, where you work together with other department directors to contribute to the city's overall development. Your areas of responsibility: • Lead, develop, and represent the Care Administration based on the Board's mandate and the municipality's overarching goals • Ensure that care within home care, special housing, LSS, and HSL is commissioned based on the right quality, right volume, and cost-effectiveness • Drive the continued development of the Administration's role as a commissioner and monitor of service providers • Lead long-term development work with a focus on quality, innovation, follow-up, and continuous improvements • Oversee the development of authority functions with a focus on legally secure decisions, good service, and future work methods • Create conditions for knowledge-based and preventive work, where welfare technology and new work methods contribute to increased quality and independence for residents • Ensure good financial management and strategic planning based on an annual budget responsibility of approximately 950 Mkr • Develop collaboration with Landskrona Omsorg AB, other administrations, authorities, and external actors • Drive systematic quality work, internal control, and follow-up • Actively contribute to the city's overall development as a member of the City Director's management group QUALIFICATIONS You are a confident and development-oriented leader who thrives in complex environments where strategy needs to be translated into practical change. You build trusting relationships, create engagement, and lead with clarity, courage, and long-term vision. You have the ability to balance political goals, operational needs, and residents' perspectives and are motivated by developing both organizations and people. We are looking for you with: • relevant university education • several years of experience in a leadership position in healthcare and care services • documented experience in strategic leadership and operational development • good knowledge of authority functions and relevant legislation within social services, LSS, and HSL • experience with systematic quality work and operational follow-up • experience in change management and organizational development • good understanding of financial management and resource planning • experience working in a politically governed organization • interest in digitalization and welfare technology as support for future care • excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with many different stakeholders • experience working with external service providers in a commissioning role is advantageous WE OFFER You are offered a strategic and socially important assignment where you have the opportunity to influence the development of future care in Landskrona.
