Do you want to be part of developing the airport environments of the future? As a Water and Wastewater Infrastructure Manager, you play a crucial role in Swedavia's work to ensure the operational safety and function of water and wastewater facilities in a sustainable and cost-effective manner. You will become part of the strategic infrastructure management team where you, together with colleagues, operational activities, and process management, drive long-term improvements for Swedavia's airports. The position is based at Arlanda, but travel to Swedavia's other airports may occur a few times per year based on operational needs. What does the role entail? As a Water and Wastewater Infrastructure Manager, you are responsible for managing and developing the airport's water and wastewater facilities and ensuring that we meet the requirements of our environmental permit. The facilities handle wastewater, stormwater, drinking water, process water, and glycol-contaminated stormwater. The role will mainly focus on stormwater and drinking water. Work in other areas, such as wastewater, may occur. Your work will include: investigating and planning the need for operational and renewal measures. developing management plans for time periods of 1–20 years. acting as requirements setter and reviewer in development projects. providing support to our project managers carrying out our development projects through facility expertise. acting as a contact for water and wastewater matters with both internal and external stakeholders. Collaboration, Communication, and Problem Solving The position requires strong communication skills and a structured working approach to ensure that information is received, processed, and conveyed clearly and pedagogically. The Infrastructure Manager is expected to act as a cohesive link in infrastructure management matters, where cooperation and relationship-building are essential for achieving long-term goals and sustainable development of the facilities. Who are you? We are looking for you with a university or civil engineering degree in civil engineering, road and water engineering, environmental and water engineering, or another relevant field. To succeed in the role, we see that you have: broad understanding and solid knowledge of water and wastewater systems and stormwater management experience with cloudburst management projects experience in planning reinvestments and major maintenance measures experience with water and wastewater investigations knowledge of environmental legislation good command of Swedish and English, both spoken and written good IT proficiency and knowledge of the Office suite experience and knowledge within CAD and GIS B driver's license, which is required to navigate the facilities As a person, you are solution-oriented and analytical.
