6th Helicopter Squadron Malmen's Defense Health Service is seeking a medical secretary Would you like to become part of our team? The Defense Health Service is the Swedish Armed Forces' internal occupational health service and operates at all garrison locations throughout the country. The Defense Health Service is responsible for health and medical care for conscripts and cadets and provides occupational health services for employed personnel within the Swedish Armed Forces. Working as a medical secretary is stimulating, varied, and developmental in a growing organization. Försvarshälsan Malmen operates at Helicopter Squadron Malmslätt in Linköping. The unit falls under the 32nd Garrison Battalion. Your service will be conducted at Malmen, with support to other defense health services and units as needed. Main Responsibilities Your work will consist of Swedish Armed Forces-specific care administration, including managing journal entries, dictations, and referral handling in the data journal system. Focus on the Air Force. You will also serve as a local system administrator and provide administrative support to the unit by handling mail, invoices, orders, and purchases. We also see you participating in and driving development and improvement initiatives at the unit. REQUIREMENTS • Educated medical secretary/care administrator with at least five years of professional experience • Experience with data journal systems MERITS • Experience with system J4 • Experience from service in the Swedish Armed Forces, Defense Health Service, or Flight Medicine • Class B driver's license • Documented experience working as a medical secretary Personal Qualities You will work both independently and in teams with other professionals, which requires good collaboration skills, flexibility, and initiative.
