Then you might be the person we're looking for as we now seek a lead teacher at Möllevångsskolan in Math/Science for grades 7-9. Möllevångsskolan currently has four committed lead teachers who conduct pedagogical development at the school on behalf of the school's leadership. In close consultation with school leadership, you will have excellent conditions to plan, implement, and evaluate development initiatives you are responsible for. Your development efforts inspire your colleagues and contribute to higher goal achievement. The school's commitment has been, and will be in the coming years, to develop and ensure high quality instruction as well as actively promote attendance. At the same time, the majority of your position is teaching. You conduct varied, creative, and engaging instruction for our students, both individually and in teams. You find strategies to reach each student and contribute to increased goal achievement. You plan, assess, evaluate, and develop educational activities in accordance with the school's governing documents and systematic quality work. The lead teacher works at their own workplace but also has a partly municipal/administration-wide assignment through sharing best practices. Qualifications You are a certified teacher with credentials in Math/Science for grades 7-9. To be suitable for the lead teacher assignment, you must be able to document, through documentation, at least four years of well-documented work after graduation with teaching within one or more positions in the school system. We would also like to see that you have experience mentoring other teachers and driving pedagogical development processes. Based on evidence-based research, you can develop your work and, with good knowledge and experience, you work effectively with relevant digital tools. You naturally have a professional approach and work for good relationships with our students, their guardians, and all your colleagues at the school. You are team-focused and value building trusting work relationships, where you also share your ideas and contribute to collegial learning.
