An important part of the role is also to contribute to the development of teaching quality and our available learning environments. Furthermore, you will drive and participate in school development initiatives identified within the school's systematic quality work. In this role, we offer teacher meetings two hours each week and development group meetings one hour each week. Additional time is allocated for communication with your immediate supervisor. The area identified in Hammarkullsskolan's systematic quality work is to develop work with language-developing communication so that each student can read and use the Swedish language in a rich and nuanced way. Job responsibilities include, for example, leading collaborative learning based on the lesson-study model, incorporating TAKK in the work, giving lectures and workshops, ensuring that fiction is an important part of every classroom's instruction, and clearly implementing PAX in school activities. An important task as Lead Teacher here is also mentoring student teachers and mentorship for newly graduated teachers, with the aim of contributing to a good introduction to the teaching profession. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is a certified teacher with authorization to teach in grades F-3. To be suitable for the role of Lead Teacher with us, you should also have the following qualifications: Are a teacher with at least five years of certified, well-documented teaching within the school system. Have a strong ability to develop instruction by systematically reviewing, improving, and monitoring instruction so that it supports and develops student learning. Have a strong ability to drive school development based on the school's systematic quality work in collaboration with school leadership. Contribute knowledge of research and proven experience. Have developed analytical abilities. Have a strong ability to lead others in collaborative learning. Have achieved merit level 2 within the professional program or plan to do so within 3 years. For this position, it is meritorious if you have: Experience leading colleagues and driving collaborative learning. Experience working with a focus on language development, thematic work, and teaching quality through collaborative learning. Experience working in close collaboration with school leadership in a middle management role toward colleagues. Experience working with PAX and TAKK (Sign as Alternative and Complementary Communication). As a person, you are clear and structured and have a good ability to create conditions for learning and development, both for students and colleagues. You have a genuine interest in development work and actively work to strengthen teaching quality based on research, proven experience, and a scientific approach. You are communicative and have the ability to adapt and convey information clearly based on different recipients' needs and perspectives. By encouraging dialogue, participation, and engagement, you contribute to a culture where collaboration and shared learning are in focus. You are collaboration-oriented and see the value of working together with colleagues to achieve the organization's goals. At the same time, you have the ability to take responsibility for and drive development initiatives within your area. Furthermore, you are analytical and have the ability to create a holistic view of the organization and place your own assignment in a larger context. You can identify and analyze challenges, see connections, and draw well-founded conclusions.
