You may also work with receiving and preparing new materials for storage in the Environmental Specimen Bank, while inventorying, repackaging, and updating information on existing samples. Part of the work is performed in freezers (-25 degrees) where heavy lifting may occur. The position encompasses both administrative and practical work. You contribute to creating structure and order in the collections by organizing samples, files, and digital information in a systematic manner. The position involves both independent work and close collaboration with colleagues in the unit. You actively contribute to the development of operations by participating in improvement work, developing routines, and ensuring that work processes are efficient and well-documented. Other tasks in the unit/department may also occur. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with a bachelor's degree in biology or another relevant bachelor's degree for the position. Good computer skills and strong Swedish language skills in both speech and writing are also required. Experience with database registration and previous experience handling and preparing biological tissue samples are merits.
