JOB RESPONSIBILITIES The assignment includes leading and developing instruction, working with pedagogical documentation as a basis for analysis and continued development, and actively contributing to systematic quality work. You collaborate with colleagues and guardians and participate in collegial learning to strengthen the quality and equivalence of education. This means you utilize children's experiences, questions, and initiatives as the starting point for instruction. You work to ensure children have real opportunities for participation and influence in education and contribute to developing a working method where exploration, communication, and meaning-making are central. You contribute to creating accessible, inclusive, stimulating, and exploratory learning environments that enable children's different ways of expressing themselves and participating in shared learning processes. Different knowledge areas and perspectives are integrated in instruction to create coherence and deeper understanding. You work daytime hours, Monday through Friday. You have experience working as a preschool teacher, strong ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish, and good knowledge of the preschool curriculum and mission. You translate the curriculum's goals into instruction and plan, implement, and develop teaching that creates conditions for children's exploration, communication, and meaning-making. You have the ability to see what needs to be prioritized, are efficient, and use resources to achieve results in the best possible way. Salary form: Monthly salary. Employment type: Fixed-term employment. Duration, start date: 2026-08-31 or by agreement, end date: 2027-02-28. Working hours: Daytime. In Örkelljunga Municipality, we apply individual and equal salary setting. This position has a salary range of 33,000-37,000 kr/month, depending on experience, competence, and market conditions.
