ABOUT THE JOB We are now seeking a teacher for adapted primary school, grades 1-6 subject area. Adapted primary school grades 1-6 subject area is located at Forsdalaskolan, which is one of the municipality's primary schools. Forsdalaskolan is an F-6 school with approximately 330 students. In adapted primary school grades 1-6, we have 16 students distributed by subject and subject area. In our immediate surroundings, there is both Lycksele Zoo and nature that invite outdoor pedagogy. We are seeking an engaged and competent teacher for adapted primary school grades 1-6 subject area. You contribute to creating a safe, accessible and developmental learning environment where each student is given the opportunity to reach their full potential. As a teacher, you are pedagogically responsible for a group of students. Your work tasks include planning, implementing and evaluating teaching based on the students' individual conditions. Work with accessible learning environment, visual support and clear pedagogy. YOUR PROFILE We believe in the right competence in the right place. We are looking for you who are a certified teacher. We would like you to have a special education certificate with a focus on intellectual disability or equivalent education/experience that the employer deems equivalent, but it is not a requirement. It is also meritorious if you have experience teaching students studying toward subject areas and experience using TAKK, other compensatory aids. We are looking for you who puts the student in focus and who feels a great commitment to support and guide students in school. You collaborate well with students, guardians, colleagues and other staff, and communicate in a responsive, clear and constructive manner. You see collegial learning as self-evident and a prerequisite for creating new and deeper knowledge. As a person, you have good self-awareness, are confident in yourself and in your pedagogical leadership. You work independently, take responsibility for your tasks and have the ability to adapt according to the needs of the operation. You make well-founded prioritizations, make thoughtful decisions and maintain composure even in pressured situations. With a realistic approach and focus on what is most important, you contribute to a safe and positive learning environment for the students.
