Preschool Teacher Substitute (Vikariat)

Full-time preschool teacher substitute position One of our preschool teachers at Förskolan Fredric Eens minne will be taking parental leave. We are now seeking a substitute with preschool teacher certification, starting immediately at 50% and 100% from September (date to be confirmed) through at least November 1, 2027. Our preschool is operated by a foundation and located on Kungsholmen in central Stockholm. The preschool has 50 enrolled children distributed by age into smaller base groups. The preschool occupies two floors in the building, plus a large rooftop terrace and a smaller courtyard. We are close to Pontonjärsparken and visit almost daily. We consider outdoor time an important part of education. The preschool has its own chef and maintains a high level of competence with 50% preschool teachers and 50% childcare assistants. Your role will be to work alongside experienced colleagues to offer children planned education well-grounded in the preschool's curriculum and other governing documents. Teaching, care, and security form a unified whole, and we place great emphasis on social interaction and ensuring our values are reflected in everything we do. We use Systematic Quality Work (SKA) to support instructional planning. There is well-established collaboration between groups and we work from the principle that "all children are everyone's responsibility." As a pedagogue, you will have primary responsibility for your base group. This substitute position is with a group of 10 children ages 2.5-3 years, where you will work alongside a childcare assistant to plan instruction and conduct development conversations.
