Vivalla is a multicultural area where you will have the opportunity to meet children and guardians from diverse cultural backgrounds. We work based on a language and knowledge-developing approach where our focus is to strengthen children's communication, language development, and self-esteem through joyful learning. The goal is for each child to develop respect and understanding for all people's equal worth, their own faith in the future, and to care for their environment. We work based on guided interaction (ICDP) and start from each child's strengths and interests, while encouraging them forward in their development. In this position, you have access to digital tools and work clothes for both indoor and outdoor use. All preschool teachers have scheduled reflection time together with the work team and scheduled individual pedagogical development time. Examples of Work Tasks: • responsible for offering a good environment for care, development, play, and learning • responsible for leading, organizing, planning, implementing, and developing instruction • use methods and approaches in education that are based on scientific grounds and proven experience • work and document in the activity systems that exist • be familiar with and follow curriculum, laws, policies, and procedures About the Workplace Författaren opened in 2016 in newly built facilities and is located on the outskirts of Vivalla with proximity to forest, several wonderful playgrounds, and Boglundsängens nature reserve. The preschool has four departments. Kastanjegården opened in newly built facilities in August 2018 and is centrally located in Vivalla with proximity to the city center, the area's library, forest, and wonderful playgrounds. The preschool has five departments. Both preschools have their own cooks and are located near a bus stop. Qualifications As a person, you are confident and engaged in your role, you can see the bigger picture and adapt yourself according to needs and situations. You have a good understanding of how children acquire knowledge and can adapt your way of communicating based on children's different prerequisites. To achieve the preschool's goals, we expect you to be driven, take responsibility for your tasks, and have a solution-focused approach. In addition, you are good at collaborating and creating participation and engaging those around you, and you are motivated by working in a team and processing together with other staff at the preschool. Furthermore, you must master the Swedish language in a way that allows you to communicate with children, family members, and other staff, and can document in writing what the organization requires. Since the work involves digital documentation, good computer skills are also required. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
