Prästkragens preschool is part of the Department for Children and Education, which has approximately 800 employees. The department's operations extend throughout the municipality and include preschool, primary school grades F-9, adapted primary school, after-school care, catering and facility management, mother tongue education and library services. A day as a preschool teacher at Prästkragens preschool In our municipality, you work based on children's interests, needs and experiences. The operation is designed so that learning and teaching are adapted and varied according to children's interests, conditions and needs so that care, upbringing and learning form a whole. As a preschool teacher, you plan the learning processes and with a formative approach you implement, follow up and evaluate teaching, all anchored in the curriculum. Children's learning is made visible through digital pedagogical documentation with iPad as a work tool. At Prästkragens preschool, you will get to work together with preschool teachers and childcare workers in work teams. As a preschool teacher, you are responsible for the preschool's teaching and work together with your work team. Your competence Requirements: We are looking for you who are a certified preschool teacher. You are well acquainted with the national steering documents for preschool. Digital competence and interest in ICT are expected. Meritorious: Practical experience with low-affect approach. Previous experience working in preschool. Other: You have an empathetic ability to understand the child's needs and meet them where they are, as well as to listen, encourage, stimulate and challenge them to develop further. Other information The position is a temporary position for the period August 2026 - August 2027, at 100%, with possible opportunity for permanent employment after the end of the temporary period.
